New Energy Scores for Australian online realestate listings

Reneweconomy.com.au has reported (20/01/2017) on the launch of Energy Scores on realestate.com.au to provide an instant snapshot of home energy performance across more than 80 per cent of Australia's home market.

Energy Scores aggregates gas and electricity related costs and consumption data for single and multifamily properties.  

The "claim your home" feature empowers homeowners and renters to capture more energy savings.  Their listing's score on realestate.com.au improves by adding additional information on energy use, habits and energy upgrades for the home.

Energy upgrades such as improvements to wall, ceiling and floor insulation to improve monthly bills will boost homeowner's rankings.
