French Minister of Territorial Equality and Housing, Mrs Cécile DUFLOT chose Knauf Insulation as one of the companies to visit during the opening of this year’s Batimat exhibition, France’s leading construction industry event. This year’s event which was held from the 4th to the 8th of November 2013, was dedicated innovations and Knauf Insulation presented its innovative range of products and solutions including glass mineral wool with ECOSE® Technology and blowing wool insulation.

Nadine Grard, Director for Marketing and Communications for France, had the pleasure to introduce ECOSE Technology to the Minister Cécile Duflot and her staff during her short visit to the stand.

Energy efficiency was a particular focus of this year exhibition, as well as innovation in building materials and renovation sectors. During the event, stakeholders from across the building sector, including Knauf Insulation, were called upon to support the French government in delivering its goal of 500,000 renovated houses a year till 2017, an initiative announced earlier this year by the President of the French Republic.
