Earthwool® Wall batts are available in economical energy performance, R-1.5 up to superior performing R2.7. Providing both acoustic and energy saving performance to create a peaceful and comfortable environment in your home by absorbing sound and keeping it where it should be. It’s super soft, made using recycled glass, and available in thicknesses to suit 75mm and 90mm timber frames. Plus, installation is quick and easy. As well as providing an economical up to superior results, Earthwool® Wall batts are extremely durable and come with a 50-year warranty, so will stand the test of time.
Knauf Insulation Acoustic batts are available in a range of densities for metal and timber frame construction, providing options for your individual requirements. This specialist acoustic range of insulation products is available in Basic Performance (11 kg/m³), Ultra Performance (14 kg/m³), High Density (17 kg/m³, 20 kg/m³ and 27 kg/m³) sound absorbing performance levels.
The Earthwool® Wall batt range includes a selection of R-Values to provide builders, designers, installers and DIYers the opportunity to choose the best thermal performance for their project. Earthwool® Wall batts will also absorb the transfer of unwanted sound from outside to inside the home. In addition to sound absorption, Earthwool® Wall batts will improve the thermal comfort and energy efficiency of the building in which they have been installed thus keeping it cool in summer and warm in winter. Super-soft to handle and install, Earthwool® is made using up to 80% recycled glass and with ECOSE® Technology, a sustainable, bio-based binder that contains no added formaldehyde.
What is ECOSE® Technology?
ECOSE® Technology is a sustainable binder based on naturally occurring organic materials, which replace the traditional petro-based chemicals used in standard insulation binders to create more advanced and sustainable products. As a result, Earthwool® made with ECOSE® Technology contains no added formaldehyde or acrylics.
